A Day at Bravo Family Farm
One Family. Two Centuries. Untouched Nature.
Some families inherit land. The Bravos became it.
Two hundred years ago, the family of Nicolas Bravo settled in the green hills above Zihuatanejo. They have farmed and protected it ever since.
Farm Day with the Bravo Family is your private invitation onto that land. Join Nito Bravo and his family for an introduction to a traditional working Mexican farm.
Crafted for discerning travellers seeking living history, authentic home cooked food, and the rare privilege of being a guest in a family's own home ground.
Small group format with maximum 10 guests.
About Your Sendero
Hear it from Nito, the land owner.
These special lands are lucky to have Nito as someone who protects and loves to share the property. Nito Bravo, of the founding Bravo family of Mesas de Bravo, explains why tourism is what will help keep the land where the waterfall is located, drenched in nature, as clean and protected with pure water, forever.

Your Impact
Some farms you visit. This one, you join.
The Bravos, a founding family of Zihuatanejo and area, have worked this land for two hundred years, since the family of Nicolas Bravo settled. Today they open their farm to share a traditional and working Mexican family farm.
Sendero guests stand inside that story. A significant portion of every booking funds the fire break perimeter that protects these historic lands, the line of cleared ground that keeps wildfire from the forest, the watershed and the farm itself.
Your visit keeps working long after you have gone home. The fire lines hold before the dry season turns. This is not charity. It is a place in a chain of care that began before you arrived and will continue long after you leave.
This is not tourism. This is making a difference.
Come for the family table. Leave as part of the reason it endures.
