EXPEDITION ITINERARY

  • Phase 1: Volunteer Certification: Be guided through a series of local expert videos for a brief introduction to local sea turtle species, sea turtle history in Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa, and safety protocols protecting these delicate nests.

  • Phase 2: Coastline Patrol & Nest Identification: Navigate active nesting grounds alongside experts, learning how to spot subtle tracks left by emerging sea turtles under the night or early morning sky.
